L’alluminio è da poco arrivato in cantiere e già si inizia a tagliare. Timshel verrà costruita in maniera artigianale ma con macchinari e attrezzatura all’avanguardia. Ho deciso di collaborare con il cantiere Metal Sud di Latina che ha già alle spalle l’esperienza nella costruzione di diversi scafi su progetto di Ernesto Tross e grossa esperienza nella lavorazione dell’alluminio. Dalle prime barche, assemblate praticamente “a mano”, i ragazzi del cantiere, in poco tempo, si sono dotati delle risorse necessarie per poter “industrializzare” la produzione, con grossi vantaggi dal punto di vista della precisione, della velocità e del costo.
